Serving All Cemeteries
Always Shop & Compare Before You Buy
You are NOT required to purchase your memorial from your cemetery or funeral home. Our prices are, on average, 10-30% lower than cemetery or funeral home prices.
There is no pressure to purchase from us, either. At the end of the day, the memorial for your loved one should be something you can be proud of, no matter where it comes from.
Frequently Asked Questions
Basic Questions
To be honest, I have no clue what I’m doing. Where do I start?
That’s okay! Most people a) have never done this before, and b), are in mourning, so we don’t expect you to lead the charge on this.
We’ll start with setting an appointment. Give us a call, email, or just stop in to our location at 943 W. Liberty Dr., Liberty, MO. Walk-in’s are more than welcome!
Is there a “right” option?
There aren’t any monuments or markers that are technically “better” than others, but some may align with your loved one’s taste or interests more. Some cemeteries have specific requirements in certain sections, so we’ll work together to figure out what monument will adhere to the rules.
Is there an ideal time to purchase a monument? Do I need to wait a certain amount of time after burial?
Whenever you want to purchase a monument is fine, as long as you’re adhering to cemetery regulations.
People purchase and place monuments long before they have died. The freedom to choose how you are memorialized is possible.
How long does the process take from our first meeting to installation?
This depends on the type of monument, vendor timelines, and cemetery scheduling. On average, it takes 12 to 16 weeks—but we’ll give you a clear estimate upfront and keep you updated every step of the way.
Installation and Maintenance
Who takes care of installation, and is there a charge?
We coordinate and complete the installation for you. The cost is typically included in your estimate—no surprise fees.
Do I need to contact the cemetery?
Nope. We’ll handle all communication, approvals, and paperwork with the cemetery. We know what questions to ask and who to call.
How do I care for the monument?
Most granite and bronze monuments are built to last generations, but regular cleaning helps. We’ll give you tips—or you can ask us about maintenance kits and services.
If a stone is damaged during delivery or installation, we’ll make it right. If damage happens years later (from weather or cemetery equipment), we can walk you through repair or replacement options.
Monument Options
What types of monuments are available? (e.g., flat markers, upright headstones, benches, custom shapes)
We carry flat markers, upright headstones, slant markers, benches, cremation memorials, and custom designs—including pet memorials. Check out our Monument Buying Guide, where we go more in depth into all of the options for monuments. Or you can stop by our showroom.
Can I include photos, symbols, or custom artwork? How much text can I include?
Absolutely. We offer porcelain portraits and custom artwork. Symbols of faith, hobbies, or heritage are all possible. As for text, it depends on the size of the stone, but we’ll help you fit in names, dates, quotes, and personal messages while keeping it beautiful and legible.
Can the monument include both names now (e.g. for a spouse still living)? What about pre-need?
Yes. Many couples choose to list both names, with space for future engraving. This is part of pre-planning, which we’re happy to guide you through.
